Fall Colors at Crescent Moon Ranch (Infrared). This view of Cathedral Rock is one of the most popular and iconic sights in the Sedona area, and many thousands of folks have visited and photographed here. But only those fortunate few who possess infrared eyes would have been able to see it like this, and as far as I know that fortunate few includes only insects. So my infrared camera is performing a valuable public service by revealing it to the rest of us (including all us humans). This was captured late on a sunny autumn afternoon when the shadows were long and the sunlight was crisp.

Tech Info: Nikon D3200 camera (modified for infrared with 590nm filter), Nikon 18-140mm lens at 18mm, 1/320 sec. at f11, ISO 200.
