Fall Color Abstracts

Well we have had some examples of ICM (Intentional Camera Movement) posted here in the past, but it was @Ken Rennie that pushed me over the edge and caused me to make sure that when I was in Colorado a few weeks back shooting fall colors that I try to do it finally. So here are 3 that varied from little to a lot of camera movement.

All comments are welcome,

Jim

Interesting set. I'd have to shift my brain more than a little bit to really see such a composition in front of me and know how to obtain it.

Thanks! Yeah, it takes some different set eyes. But let me say that if you thought these were something, your brain will be blown with my next set of ICM shots from there.

Jim,

A very fun set! it is interesting how different folks perceive these. I think my favorite is the most abstract last image, although #2 has a very unique look to it that I also like very much! I am also intrigued by what you did to achieve that look - it must have been a somewhat more complex combo of moving and staying still than many of these type of shots use.

And then for me, while I like #1 too, I also find myself wanting to see what the traditional landscape photography stable tripod treatment of that scene would have looked like, as it seems like it might have been a cool shot that way too.
