Hey Alan,

The composition is great with how you framed the clouds and the ground layer. I think you need some shadow recovery on those rocks to add more interest with so little color in the sky. Try out the Luminosity Blending Actions I have put in the Resources, you can help test out if they are any good...

Shadow recovery and improved color balance was distinctly in order. A newer version with adjustments made to the RAW image in Lightroom.

I like this much better! The details in the rocks now add that extra visual interest to help carry the image when the sky can't. I can now sit back and enjoy those ripples in the sand leading into the image.
