Emerald Green

I was leaving the houseboat with my daughters black Lab and walked past the camera. Took a few steps and then went back and grabbed it and the tripod. After heading up the side of Dungeon Canyon in Lake Powell I turned around and was treated to this scene.

Hi Tom,

That is some otherworldly green in the water and it contrasts beautifully with the light hitting the other side of the canyon. If the green were alone I would think you had severe white balance issues, but the natural tones in the sky and canyon speak to the emerald reality.

Hey Tom,

A beautiful view you found. I am with Tim's thought about a Color cast. The sky looks fine, but the ground layer seems to be too yellow. Maybe back off a bit?
