eastern bluebird

finally out taking photos again. took a walk around a wildlife reserve and found a few birds and a squirrel. i think this is an eastern bluebird, please correct me if i'm wrong.

thanks douglas. i'm really good with recognizing about 5 species of birds and this wasn't one of them. i googled "blue bird brown chest" and this came up pretty quickly so i got lucky.

yes, it is an Eastern Bluebird. The easiest difference between Eastern and western Bluebirds is the color of their throat: Eastern have orange throats and Western have blue throats
