Very nice Jon! I can feel the sand blowing against my feet in this. That's great that you were able to capture the blowing sand.

As for digging through the archives, I did that last night going back through my 2006 archives in search of some photos of Bodie I wanted to post in our Historical Forum. Well, I found them, but then I got lost in there and spent the evening looking at photos from Huntington Beach, Antelope Canyon, etc that I then copied to a current hard drive to process.

Nice b&w and great mood! The wind blown sands are a neat touch, too!
Thank you!

I like the effect of the sand in motion - nice that the clouds almost seem to match the dune surface ripples.
Thank you and yes, that was what drew me to the image.

Nice shot and processing. Agree with Alan on the clouds.
Thank you kindly

I unfortunately lost a huge amount of my older archives (2006-2010). I have a frozen hardrive that I am one day going to get the nerve enough to try and rescue some files. I have another external that the usb port *I think* is broken so if I crack it open maybe I can rig something. A shame as it was a new hardrive and I was using it to backup a large portion of my 2010-2013 archives. Now I put all on my website (though hidden) and go back from time to time. That seems more productive. As long as I pay my yearly fees I have unlimited storage.
