Double Rainbow (Another 'Found' Photo)

Once again, looking through my archive of older images for another reason, I chanced upon an image that I liked but had not originally chosen to post anywhere. In this case, I think it was due to some power/phone lines that were in the upper left corner of the image. Back in 2014 when the image was taken I didn't know how to remove that kind of thing. But this time around after using content-aware fill from a current copy of Photoshop on it, the image looked good enough to me to include it on my website and post it, so here it is.

This one is from a July 2014 trip to the Crested Butte area to enjoy the scenery and flowers. In this case some of the typically unsettled and rapidly changing Colorado weather of the summer produced this striking double rainbow.

Lovely light Mike. The transition of light from left to right is fabulous. The right rainbow doesn't seem to be matching the curvature of the left rainbow which is confusing me.

I see what you mean. No idea why - this is definitely a single frame from the camera and not any sort of a composite type of shot. There must be some sort of a physical/optics/weather related reason for it, I don't know.
