Double Arch Alcove.

I would not known of the larger size of the subject without the narrative - this is a nicely framed shot as Kyle mentioned and looks good.

Very nice Ben. I like the look of this, and I like Dougs thinking that there could be a waterfall there if its raining.

There probably is a waterfall there during rain, but this trail crosses Taylor Creek several times so it could be a problem.

Nice shot which brings to the fore many of the elements that make Zion so great. I love the double arch feature here.
Zion is a special place, and the Kolob Canyon is far less crowded than the main area. No camping though and even motels are a long way off.

I remember visiting this area a long time ago and I couldn't come close to getting it all in with the camera equipment I had at the time. It is such a massive alcove and you did a great job of capturing it.

Now that's an impressive hunk of rock. Good job capturing this.
Thanks Mike, it is impressive, but you don't see a lot of images from here.

Thanks Guy, I think you need to have some climbing gear and climb the wall behind the arch so you can get a straight on shot and not be pointing the camera upward.
