Thanks, Alan. The snowpack is obviously pretty thin right now but we have a few systems moving in this week so, hopefully, we should be looking pretty good by next weekend.

This looks great Kurt! Love this view and the tree as an anchor. I like how the road winds around in that area, it would make for a great twilight longer shutter speed with the car tail lights along the road.

Doesn't Donner Pass close in the winter? I thought it did.

Well, it closes during storm periods but they try to keep it open year around.
