Does anyone know if there is a name for this phenomenon?

In all my life I cannot recall seeing such a thing. It is ~7AM, so the Sun is very low on the horizon. It hit some clouds at just the right angle to create a rainbow colored "flying wing". It lasted about 60 seconds and was gone.

So...do any of you know if this phenomenon has a name. It's a rainbow that's parallel to the ground instead of perpendicular or ground to ground.

I googled sun dog and it seems they appear away from the sun, so maybe the sun was out of the frame or behind the clouds. So this looks like one part of a sun dog array.

I have always called them "Glories" Ryan. I see them in Vegas quite often. If you google this you will get sundogs and glories.

Sun dogs is what I have always heard. Usually in pairs on either side of the sun but you have a cloud shield where the other side would be.

Thanks all for the clarification. I suppose they've probably occurred above me many times, but I noticed it this first time with my ever increasing interest with sky light over the last year.
