Dodger Stadium during playoffs

I'd like to shoot Dodger Stadium and the LA skyline during the playoffs. My godson is a huge Dodger fan, and I plan on making an acrylic print as a Christmas present for him. My concern is Elysian Park during golden/blue hour. I know nothing of the area, but I get the feeling I should not be alone at that time.

Any wanting to meet at Elysian park, post here. I'm guessing this will be mid October.

Lol...I was just about to add a Calendar spot for this, and saw you already did. We'll keep October 14th tentative since we won't know the actual schedule until each round. I sure hope it's a Saturday evening though.

Hey Ryan, you saw that...

I actually just grabbed a random weekend about that time as I needed a few candidate threads to test out the Calendar. But it's easily changed once the playoffs hit and a schedule comes out.

Hey Ryan, I drove by Dodgers Stadium tonight as the sun was setting on my way to Yosemite. I am ready to shoot the stadium!

Also as I drove by the moon was getting lower in the sky, I was thinking it would be cool if we could get the moon in the shot too...

Ha ha, well since I do consider the Dodgers as arch enemies of the Angels, I would only be going to support you. So whatever time you want is good with me. I am expecting to be gone shooting fall colors in Colorado, etc until probably the 10th or so of Oct, but my schedule is totally fluid it just depends on the conditions as to how long I will be gone.

I used to drive by there every day when I went to L.A. Trade Tech in 1960, I think they were still building it. It was shortcut from The San Fernando valley to downtown. I-5 was still unfinished, I think it ended around Colorado or maybe just a bit further.

It was safe to drive thru then, but if you recall Rebel Without a Cause, Sal Mineo got stabbed around the planetarium. I watched Sandy Koufax throw a shut out there.

So far...Saturday the 14th, there will be a NL game. If the Dodgers win the first round vs the Diamondbacks, then the first game of the 2nd round will be Saturday the 14th at Dodger Stadium. I feel like I should go tomorrow night just to be safe, but I cannot go tomorrow night, so they better beat the Diamondbacks and advance.

Dodgers are up 2-0. They need to win 1 game out of the remaining 3 to move one to next round of playoffs. If they do get one more win, then there will be a game this Saturday at Dodger stadium to open the 2nd round.

Anyone that wants to go, we can meet near Angels stadium. I will drive us to Elysian Park where we will shoot Dodger Stadium. As far as I know, it may only be Jim and I, but anyone is welcome.

Dodgers play this Saturday, 10/14, but I don't know the time yet. I'm looking to get a blue hour shot of the stadium.

It looks like the MLB is waiting to see all 4 teams that make it in before deciding the start times of Saturdays games?

It looks like a 5pm game on Saturday, so that should work well.

My knowledge of that area is very slim as I have only been there once and that was probably 30 years ago.
