Desert Sunflower

From Anza Borrego a week ago. Henderson Canyon Road was blooming like crazy. It mainly had just 3 types of flowers, the Evening Primrose, the Desert Sand Verbena and the Desert Sunflower.

I captured this as the sun was getting low and more of the ground layer was going dark in shadows. This isn't too far from how it was in the camera.
