Here is another Dead Horse Point image. It seems that when you get some sky color, the sun is not lighting the cliffs as much, and when it gets to the cliffs, the sky color is gone. It is stil one of my favorite scenes in the Moab area.

Nice one Ben - I like the blooms in the cracks and the bright greens in the vegetation all the way down to the river banks - must be spring in this shot.

Thanks Jim. I guess this is why the place is so popular, it lends itself to a nice composition.
The foreground trees are a great lead in. The light accentuates the rocks below nicely. Well seen, captured and processed.

Beautiful, Ben! I love the greenery (unexpected) when visiting DHP, the green of the stunted bushes is so lovely against the red grandeur of the canyon itself. You have made the most of them in this composition, as they seem to be gazing on the overlook with that justified air of awe!

Very nice Ben. I know what you're saying about the light. The clouds and the landscape rarely seem to get their best light at the same time.
