Culloden Viaduct

Wow Jim!

A train actually running on top of an old brick bridge like that? It almost feels impossible, but there it is. One would think that would be in ruins already.

Jim, Jim, I added the train. I couldn't have just the picture of the viaduct without a train! That being said, the viaduct is the longest of the old masonry bridges built in the late 1800s. This one was opened in 1898 and still supports train traffic, albeit diesel. It was a beautiful afternoon we spent in that area in early September of last year.
