Crosswalk

I captured this the other day. I was at a red light and saw the lady waiting to walk. When the light turned green, I rolled down the passenger window and aimed May camera out the window as I slowly accelerated. I got 2 shots off, this is one of them.

All comments are welcome,

This is really cool. Its got movement and leading lines. It makes you think a little. I only wish the exposure was a little tiny bit higher. But that might just be me

Thanks Dave!

The brightness of this bothered me a bit. I did want it brighter but I didn't want to blow out the sky. Though perhaps that's not an issue with street photography, but in Landscapes that's a no no. I need to do more street photography, so I can get more comfortable pushing the boundaries of exposing an image.

What I would do in that case is select everything except the sky with the lasso and then just take the sky highlights and exposure down, then, mask out just portions of the street and subject and raise the exposure on those... Its totally ok to do that ! But most street guys will expose for the subject, although there are some great shots where the subect is shilouetted out and its more about the scene... this is a good shot though !!
