So awesome Jim! I was on the road traveling and missed this when you posted it Tuesday. I had been missing your bird video's, so I am glad you posted it here in the Video section.

I am always amazed at how smoothly you pan.

Thanks Jim, appreciate the comment. Not too many videographers on the board. The birds left early this year and I didn’t get very much footage for the refuge. Conditions were decent on this day though.

I went to the central valley last December to see some cranes, on my second trip in Februrary, I didn't know if it was the rain, or cold weather, I barely saw any sand hill cranes.

Thanks much. This was taken on Feb 6. The cranes left soon thereafter. A few remaining in early March, but not in numbers.
