These photos are from a Bosque north of Bosque del Apache in New Mexico -- very accessible to Albuquerque nature-lovers. It is maintained just for the wildlife with a crop of millet, corn, and alfalfa.
Pretty neat that they sow and cut down the feed grains for the wildlife. Leaves some very nice photo opportunities for visitors like you. Thnx for sharing the scenes.
Great Photos. I have been there once. I didn't realize they were planting those for the birds. I saw a lot of fields of crops around that area, but didn't realize the purpose.
There is an issue with Uploading Photos (attachjments). I am not sure what the problem is, and I am looking into it. You can still try to Create your Threads and Upload your Photos, but it is hanging up during the Upload.
