Technically its off, the guy is not in focus, (I should have gone F4 not F2) but I found it hilarious the girl (my daughter) was copying the man's pose, I didn't even really register it until I was looking at the picture on my computer.

One thing that I have found so far with street photography, being technically sound is always demanded, in fact quirks in a photo will add to it.

I think you are correct, sometimes it seems to add character as long as its not too distracting.
