I definitely like the other one better, although this does have its charms. The snow on the mountains adds a lot to this view. Looks like you may have some water spots or flare near the bottom.

I like the snowy mood in this, those peaks gather snow real nice.

Did you hike around on the trail to the right on the other side of the little marina? There are some really cool foreground brush and trees that can give a different look to the lake also.

I had that cloned out. Looks like the layer got deselected when I was resizing and saving for web. Here is the one with the flare cloned out.

I did, however the winds were moving those brushes quite a bit.

Looks like you were just moments away from sampling the snow flakes yourself. I like the mood here and cloning out the flare helps.
