Comet C/2022 E3 ZTF - Night #3

This is my 3rd time out to capture the comet C/2022 E3 ZTF. It's now above the horizon at sunset. I went out there also with the idea of capturing the comet with some ground layers, much as many of us did with Comet Neowise a few years ago. I haven't touched any of those images yet, but will look at them later. This was about 7 to 8pm at night if I recall correctly.

20 - Lights @ 60 secs
20 - Flats
20 - Dark/Flats
0 - Darks
No Filter

Stacked in Pixinsight
CometAlign Tool to separate the comet
Processed in PixInsight
Finished in Photoshop

You will notice the tail has changed compared to a week ago.

I appreciate that Mike. I hadn't really thought too much more about it. I have seen a couple of people shooting it at 120 secs, but the vast majority are capturing this at 60 secs. So 60 secs works for me.

Fantastic I’m envious. Due to the weather, I’ve had one shot at it and failed miserably with post processing. I think I’ll get one more chance before it leaves.
