Outstanding shot Eric. I thought I knew the lizards of the AZ deserts but I have never seen one with these markings before. Very colorful dude and I like the perch on the petrified wood here as well.

The collared lizards are funny. In my experience with them, they seem much more fearless of humans than the other species. They'll sit and pose for you, and not run away. They know they are pretty.
