Clinton Reservoir is a small lake on the road to Leadville.

Thanks Jim this is a really nice area just a mile of so south of Mayflower Gulch, another very photogenic area. From I70 just east of Copper Mountain Ski area there is a road going to Leadville. A few miles down this road is a pull off and parking area for the Mayflower Gulch trailhead. Another mile further south is a pull off Clinton Reservoir. This area is great in the spring with snow still on the. mountains and in fall has great colors. It is also a great area for taking arial shots. A friend of mine goes up there 2 or 3 times a year to drone shots!
