A Cathar castle in SW France. The Castles were originally built to defend the border between France and Spain but are now about 100miles inside France. The Castles and the Cathars have a bloody history of religious intolerance. Ken

I tried to get closer but the fog shut the scene down before I could move

The next day was the complete opposite, blue skies and harsh sunshine

The fog shot is amazing! I like being able to see the whole castle in the second image but the mood of the place with the fog takes it to another level.
