I almost posted this in today's waterfall thread but decided the waterfall itself wasn't all that attractive given the shutter speed I used. This is just upstream from the Cedar Creek Grist Mill. I was shooting the grist mill and the creek and noticed some splashing out of the corner of my eye so I yanked out a long lens and grabbed a few shots of the efforts. This was the one that best displayed the salmon airborne. I didn't see whether the fish actually made it up the falls or not.
The structure to the right of the falls is a fish trap to capture spawning salmon who don't make it up the falls like this one is trying to do.
