Cecret Lake

On one of my visits to SLC, I was shown this lake by a friend. It was more of a hike than a photo trip. Wish I had a wider lens with me or a tripod to do a pano. It is an interesting place. The light wasn't ideal for this image but the location has possibilities.

Nice - I like the reflections and clear water. Is that in the Wasatch Range or the Uinta's?

Edit: just answered my own question online. I have skied right by that place on a number of occasions from the Sugarloaf lift at Alta but have never seen it in the summer.

Jameel I like the first one also. I like how the shore line rocks lead to the rocks that you can see underwater, which leads you to the big boulder which leads you to the mountains :). I also really like the yellows, greens, browns...earthy peacefulness. The second...swear I need to start wearing my glasses as I am squinting to try to figure out what I am seeing in the foreground between the log & the reflection as I can't tell if it is underwater between the log & the reflection or wet rocks.

Nice set. This is one of my stomping grounds in August when the wildflowers are in bloom. We see moose here on occasion.

Hey Jameel, what a cool lake to find! Both are realty nice with #1 standing out to me. That dusting of snow really adds some nice character to the scene.
