Cathedral Valley, Utah

In the northern end of Capitol Reef National Park in Utah is Cathedral Valley. It's worth the 28 mile jeep road to get there.

Nice - the storm makes for some interesting light angles that play well with this scene. I have been there but only with clear skies.

This is a really nice shot. I like that angle shooting from above there over Cathedral Valley. So many cool little nooks and crannies to shoot from. I do think the ground layer has a bit too much of a yellow cast to it, unless that's a result from the lighting from storm? I would try to back off just bit on the yellow though if it was mine just to see.

Thanks, Jim. Yeah, I could work on that color. The storm and remaining sky created a light temperature that was hard to pin down. Still was very good fortune to get this on a one nighter.

For sure, that's some great conditions you had. That storm front being right there is definitely special!
