Canyonlands Precipitation

Just released! From my latest journey to Utah in August. Some locations had great photo ops all day. Those were like all day one man parties for me (and my doggie).

This was mid day looking out from Island in the Sky in Canyonlands NP. Things are moving around and you don't have time to study every comp thoroughly before making your exposure. Happily, once I got home I found so much more in the image than I can remember seeing on location. I like when that happens. View full size.

Awesome! nearly a monochromatic image until that greenery shows up on the bottom. Glad you have the greens in the image.

Fabulous shot of a great area and in superb conditions! Every time I've been there it's been wall to wall blue sky. There is a real sense of dramatic grandeur in this picture. Must have been an exciting day!
