Bull Elk

A few years ago we were in Rocky Mountain National Park in late May. A group of bull Elk walked down a road and started to bed down and eat right across from where we were parked. Here are a couple of images from that encounter! The first guy really posed for me! ;)

That's so cool! The first one is the best here Larry. The 2nd one suffers from having a rock or something in the background that is causing the head to blend into the background. But that' first one is pretty perfect!

Thanks Jim for your comments, appreciated as always! ;)

I took your suggestion and removed that pesky rock and posted the resulting image below, thanks! :)

the rock under the elk in the first one is fine. the second photo has a rock growing out of the elk's head that is distracting. esp. when both the rock and the elk appear to have a nose. photoshop's ai might be able to remove the rock without too much trouble.

Thanks Beth, I did clone out the rock and posted the image with the rock removed. It’s just above your comment.
