Bull Elk in Velvet

This large bull elk, still in velvet, was walking along Trail Ridge Road in RMNP and just slowly walked right in front of where I was shooting. He actually stopped and gave me a casual look and then continued his walk up the mountain. I took several shots of him, but this one seem to capture the moment!

Hi Alan, he surely did not give a hoot about me being there. Along that stretch of Trail Ridge Road there are several parking areas and the Elk are used to people being in the area.
