Now this is B&W! What a great scene, and love how you captured it. I like the lighter tones of the immediate cliff area contrasted with the darker background.

I like this view as a contrasty B&W - it makes the rock ledge at the rim of the canyon stand out more.

Very nice image Jim. I thought it was called Monument Basin. I've been there, both from the top where you were and down near the edge on the White Rim Road.

Thank you for the comment. First time for me in that area. Not sure of the name but the sign said Buck’s Canyon overlook. I was on the White Rim trail also. Such a different area that I’m used to in California. Last year I was in the San Rafael Swell area. Wouldn’t mind returning there either.
