Kurt, splendid sunrise ! Love the golden reflection in Donner lake, didn't expect to see this much snow. How is the road going through the summit ? Do you still need to carry chains?

Thanks, Oliver. The roads are free and clear. Fairly easy hiking around as the snow has firmed up quite a bit.

Great to know, after the monster snow falls, I wasn't sure if it was wise to hike up the hills.
