The place is definitely disturbing, especially if you read about some of the atrocities that took place here over the years. The "look" is enough to put you off, but the "feel" there is even stronger.
Jim, I would normally apologize but I'm glad that the message is being received! The weird thing is that even though there is almost an underlying sense of "wrong" in these types of places, the feeling of calm and peacefulness also exists at times. Until you hear a strange sound and jump out of your shoes!Hey Jeff, man.... I have to stop looking at your photos before bedtime! Truly a scary mood here.
