Hi I am a little behind on posting these but these are my best of 22 or should I say my favorites...
cc welcome!

2022 Started out in Sedona, AZ. I like to be in a different place bringing in the new year... I also would rather get up early to catch the first sunrise of the year rather than being up late to watch the ball drop.

On my way home from my Sedona trip I took a little detour through Crested Butte. It's one of my favorite places to either stay the night while on my way to SW CO or swing through on my way home.

I treated myself to a new toy in 2022 the Nikon Z9 I got it just before by Birthday in April so I call it a very expensive birthday gift to myself... LOL

I was anxiously awaiting the arrival for my z9 for this trip to Yellowstone! I had so much fun photographing mamma and her two cubs I spent most of the day with this family. And most of it was in down pouring rain...(according to my mom it was cold) I was fine in my down jacket getting soaked and using my rain coat to protect my camera... while I was tucked under a tree for shelter.

Because I had a hard time picking just one.
#6
Again because I couldn't choose one....
#7
My favorite flower photo I captured this in 22. I thought I was going to miss Lupine season because I was having fun in Yellowstone. But to my surprise I found some!

During the summer I like to take my 4Runner on the 4X4 roads. This was up on one of the passes. It was late in the day as the sun was setting I stopped for this double rainbow. To the right you can see the storm approaching. I was a little nervous being up so high on the pass but the view sucked me in.

There was a major rock slide in RMNP that caused the water at Lake Haiyaha to change to this milky green color. It was really cool. I actually went off the beaten path and came across this area which I thought was really cool!
#10 Same Lake different view with some Fireweed one of my favorite wild flowers.
#11 Same lake...
#12
Sunflower season I love sunflower season
#13
Oh fall... by far my favorite season.
#14
more fall...
#15
Fall Pano... I thought some I missed the sunrise but someone told me that there wasn't much of a sunrise.
#16
Because... fall is my favorite season.
#17
Still fall season according to the calendar but felt more like winter. This was our coldest day of the year it snowed the night before and temps were -15... this was such a great view!
It's called a (Sun Dog)

Ha! just 8 over a 1top 10.... End the 22 with this snowy view at the top of Monarch pass as we were heading over to SW CO.
