What a great year you had John! I really enjoyed the ones from Custer State Park. I am hoping to shoot some Milky Way photos there later this year.

These images were taken in late October 2022. We traveled to SD from our home in TN, visiting several sites but had to alter our trip plans due to unpredicted snow and road closures and did not travel to ND or MT. Instead we traveled across WY to Grand Teton National Park for several days. Leaving Jackson, WY to continue our trip to other sites, we were hit by a work truck turning in front of us at an intersection—who left the scene of the accident. My FJ Cruiser had to be towed. I did not sustain any injuries but my wife’s knees were badly bruised. A kind Jackson police officer took my wife and I to the Enterprise car rental at the airport. Another police officer at the scene told us the nearest Toyota dealership, Teton Toyota, was in Idaho Falls, ID. Researching their website, I found (and purchased) a 2023 Toyota 4Runner TRD. However after this accident we suspended the rest of our vacation and traveled home.
