This is one of my favorite images of White Pocket and I found it while searching for images I had overlooked.
This Yellow-throated Warbler is a rare find in Arizona. I depend on my avid birding friends, including Eric Gofreed, who tip me off whenever one of these rare gems shows up.
This is the best NEOWISE Comet image I got this past year. It was a bit of a struggle to master comet images and I really didn't sort of get the hang of it until the end of its rein. I lightened the bottom of this image up from its original very dark look.
This is another one of my favorite images. It looks like White Sands National Monument but was actually just outside Guadalupe Mountains National Park in TX when I went there over twenty years ago. To get in you had to secure a key from the owner of the property. That guaranteed that the place would not be trampled with footprints and that you were the only one there. It was as pristine as anything I have ever seen and there were myriad images to be had. It is now part of the National Park and I am guessing not as pristine as it used to be.
I love flowers and I like to do close-ups with blurred backgrounds well as landscapes where both the foreground and background are in sharp focus. The first is a close-up of a Shooting Star from a prairie in WI. and the second is a landscape of Night Scented Stock from AZ
