Berlin's Fernsehturm (Television Tower)

I was in Berlin in 2018 on business. I spent another day in the beautiful city mostly walking from sunrise till about 9pm. The TV tower, built by the old East Germany before the wall came down was impressive. It was noon when I reached Alexanderplatz and the light was harsh and there were no clouds. I was going to a food court near the tower for lunch and noticed the interesting architecture of the mall next to it. Used the structure as a foreground. The 2nd image is the screenshot of the TV tower and the mall from Google Maps Street View.

Nice job spotting the composition. Street View leaves some interesting artifacts with the wavy crane arm

I was never able to go to Germany on business, only other states here in the US, but I also made a point to add in some days for photography to take advantage of the travel. It's great that you did that as well.

And really nice image by you. I like the B&W and the high contrast. What a cool tower they made. None of our TV towers here ever looked this interesting.
