Before the Clouds Cleared

In Arches National Park a couple of weeks ago. I stopped there because it was cloudy and stormy during the day but was forecasted to clear after sunset. So sunset turned out pretty nice with the storm beginning to break up. Not quite nuclear, but it was nice enough.

This is of Turret Arch, which is where I focused most of my time at the Windows area in Arches.

PS. I left the one person in this, normally I would have cloned them out. But I think it maybe added a nice touch.

That's some nice storm light you got there, Jim. If you hadn't mentioned that there was a person there, at most I would have wondered what the blue patch was. And maybe why you left it in (haha:))

Looks like your fellow visitor was enjoying the view and a rather beautiful view at that. Very nice capture. My biggest objection to the scene is that I didn't shoot it.

Thanks so much Monika! The person is really small, and if they weren't sitting and facing the sunset I for sure would have removed them. :)

Yep, they seemed to be enjoying the sunset too. Normally I would have zapped them, but since I am trying all sorts of new things this year I let their digital life live another day. :)

Jim, this is a killer sunset shot, I love the hues in the sky, it paints the rock beautifully.

Wow Jim you nailed it with this shot, I love the colors and only wish I could have been siting next to the gent on the rock! Thanks for sharing! ;)
