Badwater Golf Course?

I decided to make the trip down to Death Valley in hopes that Lake Manly would appear, but no such luck. I started off at sunrise and decided to go to my usual spot, but the flood carried the salt miles north. I ended up finding a little pathway of remaining salt (#3). Then I decided to look for the transition zone between Badwater and Devils Golf Course since I've never been successful at Devils Golf Course. I figured a little bit of polygon order would help the situation. All comments welcome!

That road of salt is cool Bob. I have walked across it and down it and photographed it many times. It’s so cool to see what looks like a road in the middle of all of that desolation,

It was interesting to read your take on the Devils Golf Course. Those could have been my own words, as it took years of going to Death Valley before I was able to get some images from the Devils Golf Course that I liked. I started skipping going to the golf course there on my trips because it just seemed so futile. It’s an amazing area, and one that is very captivating in person. But somehow the 3D in person experience never translated well to the 2D still photo experience.

So it’s great to see you were able to get some great looking images from there, because I do know just how elusive they are.

Nice set Tim. I like the light on the hills to go with the foreground light in the first one - my favorite of the set.

The salt road is maybe 100 feet long, and I don't think it's been around that long (the area used to be much saltier). I'll take contrast where I can get it!
