Badlands Sunrise

During summer vacation last year I took some of the Grandkids up to Mt Rushmore and the Badlands in South Dakota. The grandkids are awesome outdoors, they enjoy exploring and seeing new things. They also are really good at sleeping in with their mom so that I can go out early and shoot sunrises and get back in time for breakfast. It all works out to some very fun times.

This is from one of those sunrises in the Badlands. I had been wanting to visit for years, and with the excuse of the Grandkids I finally made it!

Can't say I have seen a lot of images from that place - looks like a delightful photo playground. I like the way you positioned the shot. There are multiple paths that all end up at the peaks at the skyline.

Now that's exotic looking. Looks like it could be a landscape of Venus sans the sky.
