Nice set.

Wish we had bluebirds in my area - those are some interesting looking birds. Your finches have more color than the ones I see in my yard.

Wow Mike, very nice. What a great collection of birds. I really like your red Purple Finch. :)
Wonderful.

Thanks. I thought this was a House Finch until asked if it could be a Purple. Still not positive, but it seems to have more red than the usual House that I see... Mike

Blue birds are a mamber of the robin family, not the finch family.
Interesting, didn’t know that Robins and BBs were cousins. What we were trying to determine was the difference between the House, Purple and Ruby Finches; they all seem to be very closely related although I admit to not being a knowledgeable birder... Mike

Mockingbirds on the tree next to my window would wake me up or keep me up late at night.

They do look pretty though, as I was reminded when I was outside this morning.

That's a cool red/purple colored finch.

Remember ;)

“Remember it’s a sin to kill a mockingbird.” That was the only time I ever heard Atticus say it was a sin to do something, and I asked Miss Maudie about it. “Your father’s right,” she said. “Mockingbirds don’t do one thing but make music for us to enjoy . . . but sing their hearts out for us."
