Back to Fall

I know spring is coming but here's a throwback to fall.

This came out of my wanderings in Silver Falls State Park this last October. An overcast day with fall colors almost overwhelming the sensors on my camera (I am not complaining). I have posted a couple of shots from the Rim Trail but I also have a pretty good stash of more. A bit on the busy side but that's the nature of forests on the NW.

C&C Always welcome.

This is really great Alan. I also like how it's framed with branches on both sides.

I was going to post a shot from Columbia River Gorge, but I must confess after seeing how natural looking your greens are in this one and some of your past shots, I had to hold off. And the reason being as I now look over some of those older shots from up there, I just got the greens too neon looking. So I think I need to get back in and reprocess a bunch of my shots to lose that neon green look...

I had the same issue with these when I first brought them up on my screen. My Lightroom settings show that I adjusted to -11 for both luminance and saturation on the green slider with white balance set to cloudy. I had the advantage that I was camped at Silver Falls and brought them up while I could still look out the window while trying to dial it back to look like what my eyes were seeing.
