These are most likely aircraft mechanics.
The guy on the left might be the crew chief

Myself, I don't know that I would buy anything off of Ebay. No particular reason, it just doesn't appeal to me. But... with that said I am sure jealous with these old historical photos you were able to get Dan. And if anything could get me to buy from Ebay, it would be something as cool as this.

very cool. reminds me of photos i've got of my grandfather from his time in the air force. he served during the korean war as an airplane mechanic. i found out through friends of his that he worked on the last squadron of p-51s.
