I agree with Alan, teh second is the more compelling image, and this is a different sort of terrain.

Ha! I expected Fall color when I opened the image, but the rough rock textures against the serene sky works well; especially in #2.

Hey Jim,

Now that's a place most of us won't get to for fall colors!

I also like #2 the best, it almost reminds me of parts of Mono Lake with the Tufa's.

Thanks all. This place is indeed different. The sandstone is between 250,000,000 and 450,000,000 years old. We were there a couple of years ago during their autumn in March. I’d like to revisit this place again.
