Autumn Abstract

As I spend more time here at the FW site, I find more fascinating forums filled with awesome images!

I have almost never capture any abstract images, and this one here is a bit of a cliche', but even so I was surprised at how it came out. Since we are still at least at the tail end of the leaf season, I am posting one from a 2012 trip to the East Coast (for the dreaded High School Reunion!)

Interesting result - You did this as a camera motion capture in 2012?

yes, exactly, this was an intentional movement shot I took in 2012 while on a trip back east to where I grew up. It was really about my first try at something like this - and it still represents my favorite result, even though I have tried a similar technique at other times since then.
