Thanks Jim and yes Kebler pass and the area around Crested Butte is my favorite also. Kenosha pass is a lot closer to home, but has become so crowded in the last few years you have to park at least a mile down the highway and walk into the prime areas and shoot around the crowds of people. It was a lot more accessible and fun to shoot a few years ago! That's great Larry, i especially like #2.
I agree Kenosha pass is pretty cool. My favorite is probably Kebler Pass in the fall, but the passes in Colorado are so awesome for fall colors.
Thanks Alan I have a lot more of the expanse (carpet) of aspen on Kenosha Pass from a number of years ago when you could jeep into the aspen fields and shot inside and outside of the carpet!Beautiful expanse of aspen color displays in both images. Almost looks like a yellow carpet in the first image.
Larry, these are gorgeous trees, so typical of Colorado. This shot take a few years ago on Kenosha Pass. on good years this is a treasure trove of photo ops for fall aspen lovers. There are several jeep roads that the hills in the background and give you numerous view in and through the aspen groves!
