I had a process that I wanted to try out and spent too long looking through my bank of photos, until I came across this one taken back in September, and thought it would work great for what I wanted to try. (color image, motion blur up, same black & white image, motion blur down, a little color toning, and a touch of blur.)

This is really unique Amy - most shots of aspen trunks try to draw emphasis into the trunks and you have gone exactly the opposite way with this and made the bare branches the primary visual instead. And it works.
