I may be wrong, but I don't think there are many photographic groups (societies?) that gather for a photo outing. Seems like it could be enjoyable.

Some of us on this forum have gathered in the past for photo outings and they certainly can be a lot of fun.

It can be a bit difficult to schedule getting a group to some worthwhile destination with all of the various preferences for overnight stays. I was working out of a 25' motorhome for quite a few years as my home away from home while others ranged from motel rooms to camping in tents or sleeping in their cars/vans/trucks. It all comes down to what the desired venue for the gathering is along with the season chosen for the event.

Wow! That's so cool Darryl. It's interesting to see multiple people there painting. Did you can a photo of what it was they were painting? From the look of that area I am scratching my head.
