Arctic Gentian

On an evening walk, I saw a community of arctic gentians just below Sloan Lake (just a hair below 13,000') on the hike to Handies Peak in American Basin. I didn't have my macro lens with me, so I went back early the next morning to catch them before the sun got high. These blooms were in front of a boulder that was still in shadow, but were getting some nice side light. I kind of prefer them before they've opened up, as it preserves some mystery and creates anticipation.

Monica, this is gorgeous, only suggestion would be to clone out that bright stem upper left.

I didn't. I went a bit past Sloan Lake and didn't feel like joining the parade beyond.
