#7 Kelly Hall Tarn.jpg

I stayed around to see if we were going to get a sunset but it didn't materialise however just before the light collapsed I managed this image. Less golden light but, to my eyes, a nier sky. At the moment I think that I prefer this new image BUT it could be that I have been looking at the warmer version for a long time and have got used to its charms and my liking may have got a lot to do with this ne being new. However I do like both images. Ken

Ken, I like both, although the 2nd one is better IMHO, the clouds are better.

Wonderful view in both but like the other who have already commented above I also prefer the second version. The clouds and skies in the second image seem to offer up better reflections in the water and slightly higher contrasts. There are some features on the ground that benefit from the higher sun angle in the first image but the second image still pulls me back for yet another look.

Very cool Ken. I liked the first a lot, and actually like the sky in #1 a lot. But #2 has better light I think as there is a lot more contrast in the ground layer and lot more details are coming from it. The sky is nice in #2, but it's the ground that I like better.
