The two instructors in this image were photographed at a recent camp in Southern California helping
other Riders improve there skills on a motorcycle to make them safer as well having a more enjoyable
time while riding.
Looks like an interesting venue. Do the instructors have individual sessions with the students or coach them as a group? I presume helmet comms for individual sessions.
I used to be a track instructor for Audi/BMW/Porsche clubs and had a helmet comm set where I could hand my students an earpiece with a mic even in cars. Bikes take that instruction task to a completely different level.
The instructions are given as a groups with Instructions given a group and individually. The student numbering 30 are separated into 3 groups and each groups gets about 20 minutes per session. There are various types
of skills taught. The instructors work with radios to keep in touch with each. American Supercamp recently celebrated there 25th year in operation. Guest instructors have included Pro racers such as 4 time AMA Superbike Champion Josh Hayes to Jake Zemke, Chris Carr and quite a few other racers over the years. I also recently celebrated my 20th year as there photographer in California. For those interested here’s there link www.americansupercamp.com
